Located on Great Barrier Island, Shoal Bay Estate has everything you could want - tranquility of the nearby deserted beaches, relaxing rustic decor, outstanding views food and harbour views. We offer wireless internet, rental car & van hire, kayak hire, additional meals and much more.
THE MAIN LODGE
The main lodge, Shoal Bay Estate is located in the beautiful and tranquil setting of Shoal Bay, Tryphena and has bed and breakfast accommodation available for maximum 16 guests.
There are ample decks to relax on, plus large pohutukawa trees for shade. There are plenty of open sunny areas and the lodge has a relaxing rustic decor and harbour views from most rooms.
Shoal Bay Cottage is a lovely two bedroom fully furnished, self contained cottage that sleeps four on the waters edge in Shoal Bay, Tryphena.
It has modern kitchen and bathroom plus wood fire. Decks front and back, sea views, gas barbecue, solar power & generator, washing machine etc...
5 minutes walk from Tryphena wharf and close to shops, cafes, pub & social clubs.
We provide breakfast on-site in the main lodge.
Shoal Bay Estate & Cottage are both available to hire for your next conference, wedding or event...
We have a selection of vehicles available for hire.
If you would like to surprise your love ones with a lovely dinner.
Housekeeping is available for the main lodge and cottage.
